Step-by-step guide: Installing a deep seat console in a truck

1. Remove old seat console:

   • Loosen all 6 attachment points connecting the seat to the old console.
   • If electrical connections or air lines are present (e.g., in air-suspended seats), carefully disconnect them.
   • Important: If the seat was raised beforehand, be careful! It can suddenly drop after disconnecting the air hoses – keep fingers out of the danger zone
   • carefully lift the seat and place it on the bed, for example
   • then loosen the 4 attachment points connecting the console to the floor

2. Mount seat console:

   • Position the new seat console so that it aligns with the existing drill holes.
   • Securely fasten the console with the original screws.
   • Tighten all screws to the recommended torque.

3. Reinstall seat

   • Place the seat on the new console, but do not fully fasten it yet.
   • If present, reconnect electrical connections and air lines.
   • Screw the seat firmly and check its stability.

4. Test and fine-tuning

   • Check the secure fit and retighten all screws if necessary.
   • Take a test drive to ensure the new position is optimal.
